Painting:-
The artists are identified and promoted by organizing exhibitions. These exhibitions are usually theme based. The exhibition is organized at rural as well as urban level.
Kshitiz India organizes art workshops, seminars & exhibitions in different parts of the city & rural area’s to promote Artist and there Art with interactive way so that people can interact with each other & can understand the importance of an artists emotions & the role of an artist in society.
Theatre:-
Dramas and songs are best ways to which awareness can be created in community. Even an illiterate person can understand the purpose of performing it. The issues focused are illiteracy, poverty, women-empowerment, superstitions prevailing in our society. Apart from these current issues are also raised like globalization, liberalization, privatization of natural resources etc.
Kshitiz India organize personality development workshop, self expression based workshop and performs several plays & drama’s on different social issue’s to build awareness especially in rural areas.
Rain Water Harvesting and Plantation :-
Modernization has given raise to scarcity of water. To channelise the rain water , rooftop Rain Water Harvesting (RWH) plants are promoted and installed. The structures are simple; Eco friendly and low cost hence can be afforded by everyone.
At Kshitiz, plantation is an age- old tradition; there are many villages in Kumbhalgarh, Mavli, and Jadol Tehsil where people can recall the plantations. Thousand of fruits and shades plants are seen in various schools and other common places.
Organic farming & Herbal Medicine:-
To conserve the fertility of soil and promote organic farming techniques. We research on traditional practices and promote them. This activity will provide quality food to community.
We are also researching on the locally available medicinal plants & uses. The community will be encouraged to use the plants for their primary health care needs.
Awareness Programme & Workshops:- Kshitiz is decided to the concept of gender equity in society. We are working to ensure respectful status for women in society. In the slum area of Udaipur city and remote village of tribal block many women faces problem due to lack of proper awareness and information. Kshitiz India organized more then 50 awareness meetings and workshop in remote village. These awareness meetings and workshops covered sharing of various rights, rules and act supporting women and welfare schemes betterment of women. These workshops helps raising general awareness and many women facing problems in society came forward to seek support for legal aspect and social strengthen.
Youth Clubs and Self help Group :-
With the objective of increasing the participation of women in local development, through formation of women Self Help Groups who saves a monthly saving of Rs. 20 to 100 and used the collection amount for supporting each other during the time of emergency.
We establish youth club in rural area of Udaipur, Dungarpur and Rajsamand district of Rajasthan.
For self reliance we developing self help group and support them. Organize various workshop and conference for youth clubs and SHG.
